Challenge
One of the largest family-owned companies in the Benelux, specializing in extracting raw materials, relies on Vaikon for its semi-annual shutdown of one of its sites. During these shutdowns, our service engineers inspect all slurry pumps and overhaul them where necessary. The main pumps at this site are located onboard a mobile sand separation plant and can only be reached by water at the beginning and end of the day. A maintenance operation like this requires thorough planning and preparation to ensure smooth execution.
Solution
